“THE BIG SEAT” feat. CAL RALEIGH
Mogg Media partnered with Alaska Airlines to create a premium commercial campaign featuring Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh. The goal was to connect Alaska’s new elevated travel experience with the mindset, discipline, and preparation it takes to perform on a big stage.
The Challenge
Alaska Airlines needed a campaign that felt cinematic, premium, and distinctly Seattle while still fitting within the fast, high-impact world of sports advertising. The creative had to balance athlete authenticity, strong brand integration, and multiple deliverables across formats.
Our Approach
We developed the creative concept and script around a simple idea: how you travel changes how you show up. By pairing Cal Raleigh’s disciplined routine with Alaska’s lie-flat suite experience, we built a spot that felt both aspirational and grounded. Visually, the campaign leaned into a polished, cinematic sports aesthetic while using T-Mobile Park and Seattle iconography to root the story in place.
